Near Grey-Near Grey
Near Grey is an instrumental sludge / doom / post-rock / drone / experimental metal band based in Montreal. Marc-Oliver had initially composed some riffs on the drums, guitar, bass and synth in the order form a new group slower and heavier than anything he had done so far. Michel joined Marc-Oliver in the fall of 2011and began to polish up the riffs and add his personal touch. The band took shape when Kevin joined them in early 2012, Nicolas completed the lineup in the summer of 2012. Since then Near Grey has been playing powerful and unique music.
The first EP independent production conducted during the summer of 2012, the album contains three songs which represents only tip of iceberg.
The primary purpose of Near Grey is making music they like,Near Grey brings a new kind of heavy music that´s been missing in the scene. Even without words, the music is very emotional. The music satisfies the hardcore fans of doom metal, post-rock, sludge and even shoegze.
